The Lord told Moses that He specifically chose Bezalel and personally appointed Oholiab as well. Specifically chosen. Personally appointed. Those descriptions fit us as well.
We each have a special calling on our lives—we each are specifically chosen. God has a plan for each individual and each plan is different. Two big problems we see today is either people who are trying to follow in the shoes of someone else and their life calling and people who have no intention of doing anything except what they set their minds to do in life.
Today I challenge you to seek God’s will for your life and to embrace your calling. God has personally, specifically chosen you for great things. There is no one else like you. Allow God to use you for His designed purpose and you will feel great peace and joy.
“Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Look, I have specifically chosen Bezalel son of Uri, grandson of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts. He is a master craftsman, expert in working with gold, silver, and bronze. He is skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones and in carving wood. He is a master at every craft! And I have personally appointed Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, to be his assistant. Moreover, I have given special skill to all the gifted craftsmen so they can make all the things I have commanded you to make.’” – Exodus 31:1-6 [NLT]
